Terms of Service
Last updated October 17, 2026
These terms are an agreement between your insurance agency ("you", "your agency") and Quote Sheet Studio ("we", "us"), which operates Quote Sheet Studio (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms on behalf of your agency. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service does
Quote Sheet Studio reads insurance quote documents that you upload (for example from Cover Whale or Progressive) and helps you produce quote sheets, and related documents we may add over time, carrying your agency's branding, licenses and signers.
2. You review every document
The Service is a drafting tool. It does not give insurance, legal or tax advice and it does not bind coverage. Carrier documents vary and automatic reading can be wrong or incomplete. Before you send or sign any document made with the Service, a licensed person at your agency must check it against the carrier's quote and correct anything that is wrong. You are responsible for the documents you send to your clients, for charging broker fees lawfully, and for complying with the insurance laws and license requirements of each state where you do business.
3. Accounts and your team
- Accounts are for businesses only. The person who signs up must be authorized to bind the agency to these terms.
- Each user needs their own login. Do not share passwords. Your agency's admins control who has access and are responsible for removing people who leave.
- Keep your account information accurate, including your agency name, licenses and signers. Only add signers and signature images you are authorized to use.
- Tell us promptly at support@quotesheetstudio.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
4. Free trial, plans and billing
- New agencies get a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required to start it. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your chosen plan starts and you are charged.
- Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until cancelled. Plan limits (such as the number of users) are shown on our pricing page.
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to your purchase, and prices may include applicable sales tax.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend access after a short grace period until it is resolved.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing period after the notice.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel anytime from the Billing section of your account. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. If you cancel during the free trial you are not charged. You can get a full refund of any payment if you ask within 14 days of it. After that, payments are not refundable except where required by law or where a billing error was ours. Our Refund Policy has the details.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, deceptive or fraudulent, including creating documents that misrepresent coverage, premiums or fees;
- upload documents you have no right to use, or personal information you are not allowed to process;
- copy, reverse engineer, scrape or resell the Service, or try to get around its security or plan limits;
- interfere with the Service or other customers' use of it.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
7. Your data
You keep all rights to the information you put into the Service, including your branding, licenses, signer details and the quote documents you upload. You give us permission to use it only to provide, secure and improve the Service for you. Quote documents are read to fill in your documents and are not kept by us afterwards. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
8. Our Service
We own the Service, its software and its design. We give your agency a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it during your subscription. Carrier names are used only to say which documents the Service can read. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any carrier.
We work to keep the Service available and accurate, and we may improve or change features over time. We may stop supporting a carrier's documents if the carrier changes them in a way we cannot support, and we will try to give notice when we can.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every document will be read correctly, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, commissions, clients or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount your agency paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending the agreement
You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may end or suspend your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we stop offering the Service, in which case we will refund any prepaid amount for the unused period. After your account ends we delete your agency's data within 90 days, except where we must keep records by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will email your agency's admins at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or the Service will be handled exclusively by the state and federal courts located in Delaware, and both parties agree to the jurisdiction of those courts. Each party waives any right to a jury trial, and claims may be brought only on an individual basis, not as part of a class or representative action, to the extent allowed by law.
